Divides won’t heal unless people are willing to converse properly and fairly. I think Femi doesn’t talk to persuade in this video, but to push his views and for a public “rotten tomato throwing”.
Are you talking to persuade, or to push your views?
This conversation is unreal on two fronts to me, the lady is contradictory and also doesn’t want to be associated with racists… but supports leaders who have racist agendas and use racists propaganda.
She rightly feels preyed upon, a chap who does these interviews for a living is pushing her to accept his facts at face value in the street and he is using those to push his own side. But we’re keenly aware not to accept facts at face value to protect ourselves against #fakenews
If you want to talk to persuade, you need to listen and talk, accept that the person can’t take the facts at face value and give them space to find out themselves. Or explore that suddenly “unknown” fact with them, question it fairly but don’t steam-roll over them, you only push them further away.
I have voted to remain, and would do so again, but I’m not convinced by these types of videos which often are made for people to scoff over and poke fun at other people.

What do you think? I’m sure it’s tough and talks get heated being out there in the street, but this video just wasn’t my favourite.
